I must admit, I am pretty proud I thought of most of these myself.

1. Attend Cocktail Hour
   You’ve spent over a year planning for this wedding and you’re going to miss an hour of it? No! Consider greeting your guests at cocktail hour with your bridal party. Allow enough time between the ceremony and pictures to get to the venue. It will eliminate the need to greet guests during the reception and you get to enjoy an extra hour of drinking!
   
2. No Head Table
   Here’s why you should consider having a sweetheart table for you and your hubby:
   – Head tables are hard to socialize at, you really are only able to talk to the people on your left and right side.
   – Let your bridal party sit at tables with their plus ones.
   – More intimate for speeches to be made directly to the couple
   – Adds a special moment where the bride and groom can enjoy each other’s company.
   
3. Give tables locations instead of numbers
   A more cute and thoughtful way to approach table assignments is by naming each table after a place that was special to you and your s/o. Examples could be a favorite restaurant, city, vacation spot, school, activity, etc…
   
4. Introduce your own wedding party
   Skip the grand entrance into the reception, everyone already saw you walk down the aisle! Grab the mic and introduce your friends and family in a fun way. This also gives you a chance to say your thank yous.
   
5. Voice Recording Guest Book
   Consider After The Tone , its a company that ships you a voice recording phone for you to set up at your venue so guests can leave a real voice mail message for the bride and groom! It is a personal and creative way to involve your guests throughout the night. Not to mention, having voice recordings from your family and friends saved on a usb drive forever!
